Funding proposal is for seeking the support in providing dry food packets which includes Rice, Aata, Pulses and other basic food ingredients, as Govt has declared CORONA as a national disaster so we need support from the Industry, Individuals and Society to save people from dying due to hunger. It’s a challenge to look after the daily wagers, unorganised employments, Rikshaw Pullers, Widows and dependent families who can’t afford two times food for next three weeks lock down period.
We are also looking to facilitate the on-field Police staff, Home Guards and Volunteers working day and night in the field to support the execution of lockdown in next three weeks.
We have decided to contribute 10,000 dry packets of food. Each packet is costing us Rs. 380/- and we are buying these items at wholesale rates from the assured vendors who can supply on demand.
